Covid-19 

Pegasus Alpine Club operates with a Covid safety plan in place.   We recommend all members, guests and visitors to Pegasus are vaccinated in line with government recommendations.   On booking you may be asked to confirm whether you and your party are vaccinated.  Our lodge managers may also ask for proof of vaccination in line with any government regulations in place at the time of your stay.

  

Check in and Check out

Check in time is strictly 4.30 pm.   No access to the lodge is available prior to this time. Guests are respectfully asked to check with the Manager before occupying their allocated bedroom.

Check out time is 2.00 pm.  Bedrooms must be vacated by 1.30 pm (removing all luggage to the games room or other allocated area), with all guests leaving the Lodge by 2.00 pm (unless otherwise agreed by the Manager).

Bed Linen 

Our winter covid plan provides for guest bookings to include a linen pack, which will be automatically added to your booking.  Each linen pack includes sheets, towels for each guest and a bathmat.  Linen will be delivered to your room for you to make up your beds.  Please strip beds at the end of your stay for collection by our manager.

​

Food

Pegasus supplies a range of complimentary club supplies.  In winter this includes fresh fruits, staples, and even seasonal vegetables, as well as all the herbs, spices and condiments you could need!

Staples

Milk, wholemeal & white bread, butter, margarine, breakfast cereals, sugar, flour, rice

​

Fresh Vegetables

Potatoes, onions, carrots, pumpkins, apples and eating oranges (*eating oranges are not for juicing)

Beverages

Tea bags, instant coffee, milo.  Guests are welcome to make use of the Nespresso capsule machine or the club Coffee machine.  Please make sure to bring your own capsules or coffee beans (our coffee machine has an autogrind function) as the club does not supply these.

​

Condiments

A wide variety of basic condiments including raw sugar, honey, vegemite, jam, ketchup, some herbs etc.

Food Storage

All rooms are allocated:

• refrigerated storage space in the kitchen for perishables

• a cupboard in the kitchen for non-perishables

• cool room space

• limited freezer space is also available in the cool room

Kitchen

Pegasus is a self catering lodge with a well appointed communal kitchen . The kitchen’s mod cons include regular and microwave ovens, dishwashers, freezer and refrigerated storage space.

WiFi

Complimentary WIFI is available throughout the lodge.  Recently upgraded to a Starlink satellite service, we are proud to say this is one of the most reliable and efficient wifi solutions for the Mt Hotham area.  Just ask our lodge manager for the WiFi password.

​

Duties

Being a member run club lodge, all guests and members are assigned a small housekeeping duty to perform each day of their stay (except day of arrival and day of departure).

​

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the club but smokers may smoke outside at the entrance, using the ashtray provided.

​

Clean Up Before Departure

Guests must clean and vacuum their rooms and remove all food from their fridge, cool room and food drawer storage space before the check out time of 2pm on their day of departure.
